Honeycomb is thrilled to partner exclusively with this charitable organisation in the recruitment of a full time, Out of School's Manager, this role is based in Belfast at £27,000.

- Main point of contact to parents and carers, communicating effectively ensuring club organisation information is passed on appropriately, liaising with other childcare agencies
- Promote and encourage parental involvement, networking including parent information visits/evenings
- Responsible for planning the project programmes, creating safe and creative good quality play opportunities for classes aging 4-11, effectively meeting the social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Creation of monthly staff/volunteer rotas, including school pick up rotas
- Produce staff working hours for the finance team
- Maintaining accurate records of service user fees and payment receipts
- Ensure attendance registers are updating daily/weekly
- Updating individual child information, ensuring GDPR maintained
- Implementing Childcare Minimum Standards
- Purchasing of relevant materials and equipment
- Planning monthly calendar of activities based on the annual curriculum plan
- Responsible for own administration duties
- Leading the development of the project
- Attending meetings as required, undertaking relevant training
- Safeguarding responsibilities
- Level 3 qualification in childcare or playwork and either gained or working towards Level 5 in a similar relevant area
- Experience working within a school or childcare environment
- Good knowledge of planning play activities including using arts & craft supplies
- Working knowledge of good practice within child protection, safeguarding and confidentiality
- Understanding of childcare legislation
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication skills, written and interpersonal
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic to work with children and young people
