Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering exclusively with an established mortgage brokerage in Bangor to aid in the search for an experienced mortgage administrator to join their growing team.

Your Package/Benefits:

  • Salary - £28,000 - £30,000
  • Hybrid working scheme (after initial training period)
  • 25 days holiday + STAT
  • 4-week sick pay

The Role

  • Provide excellent support to Brokers, customers, and internal teams through professional communication channels
  • Competently review and assess file suitability for advice
  • Maintain high level of provider knowledge
  • Understand how BMI and medical conditions impact policy outcomes and when pre-sales underwriting is needed
  • Verify the rationale behind client recommendations
  • Possess extensive lender knowledge
  • Review and assess file suitability for mortgage advice
  • Cross-check application documents
  • Use affordability calculators and identify qualifying income for borrowing
  • Prepare Suitability Reports

Essential Criteria

  • Must have 2 years' experience as a mortgage administrator ideally with protection experience
  • Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • CeMap qualification (desired)
