Honeycomb is assisting our client, a well-established law firm, with the recruitment of a Legal Secretary in the Belfast area. This great position is suited to someone with excellent Microsoft Office and organisational skills.

The Role
To support litigation, in the Personal Injury and Jurisdiction area. Preparing high quality documents, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, under deadlines and ensuring confidentiality is always maintained. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
- To perform tasks using all forms of typing/audio typing - letters, faxes, memos, emails and documents.
- To prepare Court documents and Briefs.
- Display excellent communication skills when communicating on the telephone and through email correspondence.
- Send and receive emails on behalf of the Solicitor.
- Create and schedule appointments.
- Adhere to Lexcel and ISO 9001 standards continually.
- To ensure that filing, faxing and photocopying duties are completed.
- Ensure all records and contacts are kept up to date.
- Provide support to the firm and the wider team.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in audio/copy typing.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Case Management.
- Experience/understanding of MS Outlook, working with attachments, creating and maintaining contacts, diary schedule and including joint diaries with other solicitors within the firm.
- Experience in administration duties such as photocopying, faxing, binding, scanning and filing.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills, prioritising workload for solicitor.
- Experience of diary management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
- To work without supervision, while maintaining confidentiality.
Salary
Salary is £22k-£25k depending on skills and experience.
