Honeycomb is delighted to partner with one of Dublin's Top 20 Law Firms to recruit for a Legal Secretary for their busy Litigation department. The role is a Fixed Term Contract for 11 months to cover a period of maternity. This role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary looking to get exposure to working in a large and market leading firm.

Our client is one of Ireland's top full service commercial law firms who have been at the fore of the Legal Sector for the last 200 years. They have an impressive client base working with both domestic and international companies. A growing firm with a headcount of of 180, they offer development and progression opportunities.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Property Department. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive professional organisation. Prior experience in a busy and demanding role is essential.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' solid experience with strong organisational and interpersonal skills as well as a disciplined ability to complete work, prioritise own tasks and manage time effectively. The candidate will have a positive, helpful, and cheerful attitude.
The role will involve a broad range of duties including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional, efficient, and proactive secretarial service
- Answering phones, taking messages, logging daily calls, follow up on calls
- Digital dictation and production of all documents, correspondence, reports and presentations, contracts, agreements, accurately and in a timely manner
- Diary management
- Arranging meetings internally and externally and confirming with attendees in advance
- Managing the receipt and distribution of title documents on ATR for various banking institutions from time to time
- General administration and other ad-hoc work as required from time to time
Essential Criteria
- Strong Commercial Property legal experience required
- Dicta-typing and PA/secretarial duties for the Head of Unit and for several fee earners
- Strong MS office and other IT skills essential
- Case management experience (Partner for Windows & i-manage would be a distinct advantage)
- Excellent typing skills required at least 60+ wpm or more
- Excellent administration skills and an ability to prioritise work is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organisational skills
