Commercial Lines Executive (New Business)

Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with one of Ireland's leading Insurance Brokers to recruit for their new Commercial Lines Executive (New Business). This role is perfect for someone coming from a sales-focused background, who possesses a positive, can-do attitude and who can demonstrate their ability to convert commercial risks into clients. Must be CIP qualified. The Client Our client is a leading independent insurance broker, who proudly serve clients across Meath, Monaghan, Cavan and wider Ireland. They specialise in providing competitive and tailored insurance solutions, offering a wide range of coverage options including personal and commercial insurance. The Role The purpose of this role is to work as part of a dynamic sales team, seeking and winning new Commercial business. The role entails working on specific company driven sales campaigns, as well as working on your own initiate to generate larger new clients. Job Responsibilities Sales and Activity Management

Seek, quote and convert sales for new commercial clients
Meet challenging income acquisition and referral targets
Assist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines New Business team
Comply with all relevant compliance legislation
Manage aged debt and premium collection
Comply with all management audit requirements
Ensure agreed processes are followed in all matters

Customer Relationship Management

Build effective working relationships with all prospective clients by establishing trust, needs and meeting requirements
Actively seek new business

Customer Service

Portray a professional image to exceed customer service standards
Take responsibility for delivering highest level of accuracy and quality in your work

Team Collaboration

Work closely with company directors
Work within a collaborative team environment
Assist in achieving overall objectives and targets

Compliance

Work with the Commercial Lines Manager and Compliance teams in ensuring that quality of fire records meet prescribed standards

Requirements

Previous experience in similar role within Commercial Insurance sales
Candidate must demonstrate ability to work in team environment
Ability to convert large more complex commercial risks into clients
Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
Ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients with a flexible approach
CIP qualified as minimum
An aptitude for selling and being flexible to meet targets
Demonstrate good technical and product knowledge along with negotiation skills
Compliant with the Central Bank's Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & Probity
Full, clean driving licence along with access to a vehicle
