Honeycomb Jobs commits to driving inclusion by becoming Tech Talent Charter Signatory
Honeycomb Jobs supports creating a more diverse workforce in tech by becoming a signatory to the Tech Talent Charter (27th March, 2023.)
Honeycomb Jobs has today (Monday 27th March 2023) signed up to the Tech Talent Charter (TTC), a government-supported, industry-led membership group that brings together 700+ Signatory organisations and equips them with the networks and resources to drive their diversity and inclusion efforts.
TTC CEO Debbie Forster, MBE said ”The importance of greater diversity and inclusion in tech is, thankfully, no longer up for debate. Sectors and organisations now need to work together to shift the dial – and this will happen faster if we pool our successes, failures, and key learnings to bring about real structural change.
No group can do it alone, which is why we’re asking organisations to join our 700+ Signatories who are working together to drive diversity and inclusion in tech.”
In becoming a signatory to the TTC charter, Honeycomb has joined a group of over 700 UK organisations committed to address the UK’s tech talent shortage and diversity problem through collective action.
The goal for the TTC is for the UK tech ecosystem to be a diverse and inclusive community where people from all backgrounds are welcomed and valued for their contributions.
Mairead Scott, Managing Director at Honeycomb, said:
As a business, Honeycomb is passionate about promoting Diversity and Inclusion within our own teams and that of our client organisations. We are proud of the progress that has been made to promote DEI in recent years, and by signing the Tech Talent Charter, we are pledging our commitment to driving diversity and inclusion across the Tech sector in Northern Ireland.
