3 Tips for Relieving Stress
This week is Stress Awareness Week! Read below for some tips on relieving stress.
Everyone deals with stress – whether it’s from home life, work, or education – the key to combatting stress is having methods of relieving it.
Stressful situations are often outwith our control and there are some situations that can’t be relieved with any stress-busting tips. But these tips are for those times than can!
1. Work smarter rather than harder.
Prioritise your work, starting with the most urgent or important. Delegate tasks that can be completed by others.
2. Carve out some “Me Time”
Make sure you have some time to yourself, whether it’s watching your favourite show, reading a good book, or having just a bit of relaxation away from your day-to-day stresses.
3. Share some time with loved ones
Having a good support network is vital. Seeing friends or family can ease your stress, you don’t even have to talk about it, just spending time connecting with people can make a difference.
